How Do I Release My Daily Fear Response?


Is fear a part of your daily life? Do you feel your chest tighten throughout your day? Do you find your nerves stop you from taking action at times?

Fear might be the culprit and, though fear is a normal response to change and uncertainty, you can gain relief from it. Now, wouldn’t that be nice?

You can use EFT to release fear and get back to a place of calm.

The more often you tap, the more freedom you can experience.

Become Aware

You will want to begin tuning into your body on the daily. At random times of the day, check in with yourself.

Questions like, “How do I feel right now?” or “What emotion am I experiencing?” or “How is my body doing at the moment?” will help you become more aware of what is going on inside of you.

Trace It 

Next, you might try tracing the fear back to find its origins. Questions like, “Do I know what caused this fear response?” or “Do I know when it started?” are helpful.

If you cannot trace it to something in particular, no worries! It’s not that important.

Tap On It

Close your eyes and notice the fear response in your body. Whether it is your racing heart, shortness of breath or a racing mind full of worries…just  start tapping on the acupressure points. This is all you do, notice and feel the fear while you tap.

Continue tapping until it is hard to connect with the fear.
