Be honest: sometimes you have zero desire to do tapping the old-fashioned way. That is to go through the tedious steps of making a list of emotions to tap on, choosing your SUDs level, tapping a round, testing your progress and repeating over and over ad nauseam.
Sometimes you just gotta’ get it all out this minute and feel some relief already!
Fret not my friends, there is a technique for that.
Introducing the “Bitch & Tap” Technique…Tada!
I learned this technique from my own EFT Coaches (thank you guys!) and I am passing it on to you. Oh! And I found this funny website you might like to peruse on the subject: http://www.tapandbitch.com.
Get Down To Business
We are not going to make this complicated, people. The process, in a nutshell, is this:
Hint: It’s best to do this when you are alone and ready to tap.
- Feel it. Allow yourself to feel the upset, frustration, anger or whatever emotion is up for you at the time.
- Rant it. Start tapping around all of your tapping points while you rant, rave, raise your voice, complain, whine and basically unload anything and everything that is bothering you. Do this out loud and get into it like you really mean it!
- Finish up. Do this until you feel “bored”. Feeling bored or noticing yourself move on is a crystal clear sign that you are done and your SUDs level has hit zero. Go you!
Hint: Make sure you are in a private place and out of earshot to spare onlookers a great show;-)
