The question I am asking today is this: Is there a shelf life for your EFT Practitioner/Coach?
Haha, yes, I’m going there! I absolutely think there is a shelf life to working with most EFT Practitioners simply because EFT works so quickly that once you’ve done enough work, you find that the problem you started with isn’t ‘a thing’ for you anymore. As in, it doesn’t bother you anymore! Then it is your choice to continue tapping with your Coach on different issues or find a new Coach with a new perspective and set of tools!
Talk To Me
Unlike conventional therapy, it seems like tapping moves you through your issues by shifting your mindset, energy and perspective in such a way that you do not need to spend years battling your inner demons. I have talked to quite a few people who worked with a conventional therapist for 5+ years. Some have had the same therapist for 10+ years! That was the norm. Sheesh! What a lot of time, effort and money invested…
I find it fascinating how it just isn’t the same with your typical EFT Practitioner / Client relationship. EFT Practitioners aren’t like a therapist you’ll have for years and years, most likely. You see such quick results using EFT with your coach that you will outgrow a practitioner within 6 months to 1.5 years. At least this has been my experience.
When Do You Know?
When is it time to move on and find a new coach? When do you know you’ve reached the end of your time together and you are due for a change? My clear, quick answer: when it’s no longer fun to work with your practitioner. That’s right, as dumb as it sounds, go by your fun-o-meter! You’ll know that it’s time to move on when you aren’t excited to work with them like you were in the beginning. It’s okay to move on and it’s okay to find the next practitioner who can help you grow in a new area.
Working on yourself and your self growth, whether with an EFT Coach or on your own should be driven by an excited, fun and inspired feeling of “I hunger to be better!” When it starts to feel like a chore you might start asking friends for referrals:-)
Go forth and rock your life, my loves. Rock. Your. Life.
