Be The Change 2015 just went down. Phew!
It was a fabulous testament to how much inner work I’ve done on myself (duh, tapping!) and how successful it is turning out to be! I’m writing this post simply to gush and brag.
So here is the low down (which is blatantly obvious if you know me at all): I am a super sensitive person. When I work events, I tend to stress myself out…sometimes to the point of giving myself a stomach ache or bad digestion. I sometimes get tense and my muscles will start to ache.
I’ll be honest. I have been stressing about BTC for a few months now. It’s bigger than any event I’ve been to yet and it’s the first time I would be supporting a sponsor of the event. I had no idea what to expect. I found myself thinking thoughts like, “I’m going to feel drained.”, ” I’m going to give myself a stomach ache if I don’t calm down.” and “I’m going to feel miserable the whole time.”
Well guess what? None of that happened. And I mean none of it! No stomach ache, no exhaustion and no emotional overwhelm. I felt great despite working until 4AM a couple of mornings and having a few close calls with our printer messing up an order before a major speaking event. I even woke at 6AM and went for early morning walks around Disney Boardwalk. I am completely in awe of the power of EFT Tapping and what it is doing for my physical health and mental mindset.
But wait…there’s more! When I realized the printer’s mistake only a few hours before we had to have the prints I didn’t turn into my normal panicky, oh-shit-what-am-I-going-to-do-now self. No, instead I turned into this super confident, quick-thinking gal who flirted her way to success. That’s right, I called my printer and flirted with him just enough to get our order priority printed and delivered. Then I walked myself over to the hotel concierge and flirted yet again to get the guys working the counter to call me as soon as the order arrived. Bam!
That’s a different me. Like totally different.
And with that, I’m signing off. Here are the goods! Enjoy our adventure to Downtown Disney…
